Gladstone Park aims to make the transition from primary to secondary school as smooth as possible. We offer a full orientation program and ongoing pastoral care for all Year 7 students.
We have a designated Year 7-only area where older students are not allowed. Each sub-school has an office placed close to the respective areas to create a small school within a large school.
In Year 7 each class has a Homeroom where students spend 60% of their class time. Most classes will have teachers who teach them for more than one subject.
Resilience, Rights, and Respectful Relationships curriculum is taught in Year 7 pastoral care and through Year 8 health programs.
