At Gladstone Park Secondary College students study Humanities to examine, explore and analyse the complex processes that have shaped the modern world and investigate the challenges that these have created.
From year 7-9, students study Humanities as a core subject. This is split into History and Geography, with components of Civics and Citizenship plus Business and Economics embedded within these units.
In year 10 students have a choice of 2 Humanities electives: Earth and the Environment, with a Geography focus, and History, centering on World War II and the Civil rights movement.
