Library

As both a school library and a branch of Hume Libraries, the GPSC Library is open to students and members of the community.  Only members of Hume Libraries are able to borrow library items so all students are required to be a Hume Libraries member.  Students without membership should return a completed membership application form to the library as soon as possible.

Borrowing

There is no limit on the number of items that may be borrowed.  All items may be borrowed for a 3 week period.  Loans may be renewed if the item has not been requested by another borrower. Items may be borrowed from and returned to any Hume Libraries branch.

When a borrowed library item is lost or has been returned in a damaged condition, the last person to borrow it will be responsible for the replacement charge.

School computer access

The library has 26 networked computers available for class bookings or individual student use at lunchtime and after school.  Students need to show their school ID card to access school computers in the library outside of class time.

Printing credit can be purchased from student reception and taken to the library to be activated.

Students are not permitted to play computer games or use phones or earphones in the library before 3.15pm.
