What the Course is about:
This course provides a study of the history of the modern world and Australia from 1918 to the present, with emphasis upon human rights, and the atrocities of war.
Key areas of learning include:
- An overview of the causes and course of World War II, including Australia’s involvement
- Atrocities of War: The Holocaust, Japanese war crimes & Atomic
- Vietnam War and Australia’s involvement
- The US civil rights movement and its influence on Australia.
